General Information About the Department:
Our clinic is located in Konya City Hospital KVC-Chest Diseases Hospital. Our outpatient clinic is located on the ground floor, and our inpatient services are located on the ground and 4th floors. In the service on the ground floor, all rooms are single occupancy, and there are 12 rooms in total, 2 of which include a special ventilation system that allows respiratory isolation. In the service on the 4th floor, there are 11 beds in total, including 2 double rooms and 7 single rooms belonging to our clinic. All of the rooms have been furnished in such a way as to provide a washbasin, bathroom-toilet, television, refrigerator and companion rest.
Diseases Diagnosed and Treated:
In our clinic, such as meningitis, sepsis, urinary system infections, skin soft tissue infections, chronic viral hepatitis, infectious diarrhea, brucellosis, malaria, tularemia, CCHF, HIV-AIDS, organ transplant patients, bone-joint infections, fever of unknown origin, hospital-acquired infections diagnosis, follow-up and treatment of diseases are carried out. Consultations regarding infections developed in patients receiving treatment in other clinics are held, and antimicrobial treatments are arranged by visiting specific units such as intensive care units on certain days. Lumbar puncture can be performed diagnostically in our clinic, and liver needle biopsy of chronic hepatitis patients can be performed by interventional radiology accompanied by ultrasonography.

The Infection Control Committee (ECC) is responsible for the surveillance of invasive device-associated infections and infections with multi-drug-resistant pathogens in the intensive care unit and specialized units, hospital-wide cleaning and disinfection services, inspection of infection control practices in all clinical and laboratory units, and prevention of healthcare-associated infections. provides training services.
